Brittany Bird was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for January 11th-Janurary 17th. Bird is a 5-3 junior guard from Leitchfield, Kentucky. She averaged 16 points a game in three contests this week. Her 33 minutes in the Alice Lloyd contest finished up with 28 points and 11 assists including eight for nine from the free throw line.
