One Vote seperates IU Southeast from Berea atop poll
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (October 28th, 2008) - The 2008-09 Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Preseason Basketball Polls were released Tuesday. The six women's coaches submitted their votes for the regular season finish of the teams.
 

The women's top team vote was separated by one vote. IU Southeast edged out 2008 KIAC Tournament Champion Berea for the top spot in the 2008-09 preseason poll. Both teams received two first place votes. Alice Lloyd follows in third. Fourth and fifth place have two things in common, new coaches and a first place vote in the poll. Asbury's team led by Bart Flener edged out Midway's team headed up by Karley Mohler by a 20-19 point total. In sixth, St. Louis College of Pharmacy finishes out the rankings.
