Kasey Kennedy of Midway wins her first Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week of this year.

Kennedy, a 5-6 point guard from Crittenden, Kentucky, drilled four of six three pointers and made 3 of 4 free throws in a win over Spalding this week.  Her 15 points in the game is a season high for Midway.  Rebecca May (Berea), Melanie Keith (IU-Southeast), and Dani Howard (Bethel) were also nominated.
