Softball Pitcher of the Week: Brittany Bennett, Indiana University Southeast

Brittany Bennett was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week for March 10th-March 16th.  Bennett is Sophomore from New Albany, Indiana.  Bennett had a save and win in conference games against Midway College and Alice Lloyd College.  She also struck out 18 batters over 11 innings and had a 1.85 ERA over the week. 

Softball Player of the Week: Kacie Deweese, Indiana University Southeast

Kacie Deweese was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Softball Player of the Week for March 10th-March 16th.  Dewesse is a Junior Second Baseman from Evansville, Indiana.   Dewesse’s biggest game on the week was in a win over NCAA Division III Spalding University with a homer and a double with  five RBI’s.  She went 9 for 19 at the plate on the week with eight runs.
