Final Player of the Week for 2007-08 Season

Derick Hobbs was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for February 25th- March 2nd.  Hobbs is a 6-3 Sophomore Guard from New Albany, Indiana (Saginaw Valley State University).  Hobbs scored 19 points in the semifinals of the KIAC tournament against host Asbury College.  He also went three for five from beyond the arc in a 10 point outing against Berea for the KIAC title.
