Offensive Player of the Week: Jessica Proffitt, Berea College

Four goals in three games this week.

Jessica Proffitt was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for September 10th-September 16th.  Proffitt is a Freshman Fullback on Berea’s team.  Proffitt’s goals gave Berea the 2-1 win over conference newcomer Mountain State.  Proffitt also scored two goals earlier in the week during their 7-0 win over Kentucky Christian.

Defensive Player of the Week: Mallory Spencer, Brescia University

Leader in shutout win against Pikeville

Mallory Spencer was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for September 10th-September 16th.  Spencer is a 5-8 Freshman Defender from Henderson, Kentucky (Henderson County HS).  Spencer also had strong defense while Brescia was down a player in the second half against Freed -Hardeman.
