Sean Morgan of Spalding University wins Baseball Pitcher of the Week

Complete game shutout of 20th ranked Cumberland University.

Sean Morgan was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week for April 2nd- April 8th.  Morgan is a 6-1 Senior from Louisville, Kentucky.  Morgan only gave out up three hits in the Cumberland contest.  Morgan is 2 and 3 on the year with a 4.81 ERA.

Matt O’Brien of Spalding University wins Baseball Player of the Week

.500 batting average on the week. 

Matt O’Brien was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week for April 2nd- April 8th.  O’Brien is a 6-1 Senior Right Fielder from Sarasota, Florida.  O’Brien had eight runs and five RBI’s on the week in four wins this week. O’Brien leads Spalding in double with 15 and is batting .327 on the year.
