The 2013-2014 Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference preseason women's basketball poll was released Wednesday, October 23rd by KIAC officials. Point Park University and Alice Lloyd College were selected by conference coaches to finish in the top spot after both received the same number of voting points.

  

Point Park University won last season's regular season championship and advanced to the NAIA National Tournament after winning the conference tournament. They received five first-place votes and 84 total points. Alice Lloyd finished second in the conference last year with a 10-5 record. They received three first-place votes and 84 total points.

 

Indiana University Southeast sits in the third spot in the preseason poll with two first-place vote and 82 total points. Asbury University is projected fourth with 67 points. Brescia University is fifth with 66 points, followed by Berea College (55 points), Carlow University (42 points), Midway College (37 points), Cincinnati Christian University (21 points) and St. Louis College of Pharmacy (12 points).

 

Conference play will begin in November. The season will conclude with the KIAC Tournament February 25th – March 1st.
