Point Park University senior Livia Caluori was named the KIAC volleyball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, October 1st. This is her second player of the week award of the season. The Pioneers defeated a pair of NCAA Division II opponents last week. They earned wins over Ursuline College (3-0) and West Virginia Wesleyan (3-0). Caluori had 17 kills, 13 blocks and a .382 attack percentage in the two matches last week. The senior middle hitter ranks 7th in NAIA hitting percentage (.389) and is 12th in NAIA blocks per game (1.32). Point Park is 16-3 overall and 4-1 in conference play. They will return to action on October 1st when they host Fairmont State College.
