Point Park University junior Destiny James was named the KIAC women's soccer defensive player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, September 10^th. Point Park finished the week with a 3-0 record after defeating Geneva College (2-1), Muskingum College (3-0) and Berea College (8-1). The center defender played a key role in the Pioneers outscoring their opponents 13-2 last week. The defensive unit allowed only 13 shots on the week. Point Park is 1-0 in the conference and 4-0 overall. They will return to action on September 16^th when they host La Roche College.
