Asbury University junior Lyndsay Figgins was named the KIAC women's soccer defensive player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, October 24^th. The junior goalkeeper recorded a shutout in her first career start. She helped Asbury defeat Cincinnati Christian University 2-0 last Thursday. Figgins has only allowed a single goal in 211 minutes on the season. She is in her first season of playing collegiate soccer. Asbury University is 8-7 overall and leads the KIAC with a 3-0 conference record. They will return to action on October 25^th when they host conference opponent Midway College.
